Workshops at my Studio
There are some pottery workshops that I run at my studio at Brookwell Cottage at various times of the year. The studio is at the junction of Callow Hill, Yarley Hill and Hembury Hill. I am adding new Workshops throughout the year

To help embed throwing skills, I am offering full day courses. These days will be focused on pottery throwing skills and progress rather than products. Small groups (max 4) where the sessions will allow potters to practice and improve throwing without distractions.
The day will be from 10am to 4pm (light lunch included).
Cost includes 1 small pot glazed and sent on.

An opportunity to have a private lesson in the studio. The session is for 2 hours with individual attention and support to have a successful experience. Cost includes 2 small pots to be glazed and fired or 1 pot and 1 decorated tile.

£60 per person (min 4 people)
An opportunity to learn the basic of glaze making. The 3 hour session will involve a review of glaze types, understanding the chemistry of the main ingredients of glazes including whether a glaze is food safe. We will make up glaze samples together in a creative, explorative and collaborative setting.
Samples can be fired after the course to be collected or you can take samples away to fire.
Please bring your own mask and test tiles.
