'Make a Teapot' at the Yarley Studio

This is a 2 session course on subsequent Saturday mornings to allow the thrown pots to dry to leather hard.  In the first 3 hour session we will design the shape of the teapot in an initial session before throwing the bodies of the teapots, lids and spouts on the wheel.  
The following week, we will turn the leather hard pieces and assemble the teapot ready for bisque firing.  At the stage some underglaze or slip decoration can be done.  The teapot will then be fired and glazed in transparent or shiny white glaze to be returned to you within 3-4 weeks. Both sessions are 3 hours long.  Participants must come to both weeks to finish their teapots. Payment for both needs to be made up front.
