Workshops at Wookey Hub, Wookey

There are some workshops that run at Wookey Hub, in the heart of Wookey. This bright and cheerful setting is easy access for residents of Wookey. Refreshments are available. I am adding new Workshops throughout the year.

Pottery taster workshop - £25

An opportunity to have a go on a pottery wheel at Wookey Hub in the heart of Wookey Village. The 30 minute sessions are on a 1-to-1 basis where you will have private support and tuition to throw a pot. Price involves the cost of 1 pot to be returned glazed and fired.

Group of people learning how to hand build a pottery platter at Wookey Hub in Somerset

"Make a Platter” workshop - £40

An evening where you can make a platter that can be used for serving and presenting food.

The session involves preparing a slab which will be placed into a mould, decorated in a variety of ways using slips, plant imprint or stampers.

This will be glazed and fired and returned to you within 4 weeks.

The workshop will be at Wookey Hub , in the heart of Wookey village.

Refreshments are available as well as a friendly and collaborative company.

"Make a Vase" workshop £40

An evening where you can make a vase that will be fully functional. The session involves making a vase either using coils or slabs and then decorated in a variety of ways using slips, plant imprints or stampers. This will be glazed and fired and returned to you within 4 weeks. The workshop will be at Wookey Hub , in the heart of Wookey village. Refreshments are available as well as a friendly and collaborative company.
