I run Pottery Courses and Workshops from my Pottery Studio in Yarley.
I also run Pottery Workshops at Wookey Hub
Six week courses designed for beginners and for intermediates.
The 2-hour sessions will teach clay preparation, centre-ing clay, shaping forms, turning following by glazing once the pots are bisque fired.
We will cover decorating techniques such as using slips, underglazes as well as glazes.
The classes are small (max 5) and individual support is given depending on each student’s progress. Each week there will be a wheel for each student to use.
Price includes material, firing and glazing of 2 pots with further pots charged at cost.
Classes and courses are non-refundable. Re-scheduling is not normally possible unless there is availability.
